Hi! We are Lisa and Ashish. We're engineers by trade and nerds at heart. We have a lively willful toddler by the name of Saashi and we're trying to raise her in an electronics free environment (i.e. sans ipad, iphone, laptop or TV). Its been almost 2 very long years and counting and we have reached the edge of the cliff multiple times where we would have given in to the siren song of an ipad app. Thankfully thus far we've managed to talk each other off that path. Although we know its inevitable, we're hoping to prolong it as much as we can. This blog is where we plan to keep track of all the activities that we do (because our collective brains can only hold so much) and the occasional ramblings while we fight tooth and nail against the encroaching technology in our Generation Z baby's life. Here is something about us - I love dragons, books, the sweet smell of freshly bathed baby, kisses and laughing. He loves being my hero and saving the day, everyday.
